Senior Support Services Going “Live” With NewsChannel5

This week, we were contacted by NewsChannel5 to do an onsite interview about our Senior Support Service program. Our Senior Support Case Manager, Jessica, Executive Director, Angi, and the Lake County ADAMHS Board Team met at Jessica’s Client,( Barb) home with the NewsChannel5 crew. We were so excited to have this platform to talk about our core mission and purpose of the senior program. We are specifically proud that we offer in-home services, to best meet the needs of individuals we see.

After the cameras went away and our team was able to talk one on one, Barb shared her individual life “truths” (not stories) with us. We were all blown away by the resilience that Barb has called upon to make it through her life struggles.  Barb’s overall demeanor was that of strength and perseverance. Barb stated, I wasn’t sure at first if I wanted to do this interview – I chose to do it so I could let others know that there is help, like Family Pride, out there for them to reach out to. It has been a huge help to me”.

We are so proud to be partnering with community partners such as Lake County ADAMHS Board, Lake Council on Aging, Geauga County Department on Aging, and Adult Protective Services to positively impact the mental health of seniors in northeast Ohio.
