Intensive Home-Based Therapist Supervisor
As an Intensive Home-Based Therapist Supervisor (IHBT-S), you’ll be at the forefront of change, working directly with youth and families to provide comprehensive counseling interventions, tailored to their unique needs, in a home-based setting. Your role will involve supervising IHBT practitioners in the provision of behavioral health treatment of youth with Serious Emotional Disturbances (SED) and their families
Location: Ashtabula County, Ohio
·Competitive Salary: $75,000-$77, 000 per year
+ $5,000 – sign on bonus

Responsibilities
- Oversee the provision of IHBT and appropriate evidence based practices to IHBT staff who carry a caseload of up to 6 youth/families.
- Administer and supervise the completion of comprehensive mental health assessments including treatment recommendations as needed
- Provide guidance and direction to staff when formulating treatment plans in collaboration with the youth, family members
- Supervise the coordination and integration of all services defined in the treatment plan
- Review and approve clinical assessments, treatment plans and discharge plans
- Provide supervision and instruction as necessary in agency protocols, assessment methods, customer service and client de-escalation strategies
- Ensure that the treatment programs and records comply with applicable clinical, ethical and regulatory standards
- Provide weekly individual and group supervision of licensed clinicians designated as IHBT staff
- Serve as back-up for IHBT staff as needed
- Orient, train and onboard new IHBT staff in collaboration with other agency personnel
- Work collaboratively with external and intra-agency practitioners, parents and other supports to achieve best outcomes for clients and families using the IHBT fidelity model
- Complete and maintain clinical documentation within agency set timeframes
- Participate in interdisciplinary clinical/administrative team meetings
- Conceptualize mental health, behavioral and substance use disorders in a manner that incorporates knowledge of growth and development in youth and adults.
- Assess and manage risk on an ongoing basis and adjust level of care and recommendations as needed.
- Provide crisis intervention and response as needed (on call expectation)
- Skills in applying varied interventions with individuals and families in crisis
- Adhere to all IHBT Fidelity requirements at the Best Practices level
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Employee shall maintain current licensure by the appropriate body in the state of Ohio and shall practice only within the scope of their licensure.
- All employees who provide mental health services shall be qualified to provide those services according to Chapter 5122-23 of the administrative code.
- Clinical services can be only provided by staff members who have their license verified and have been approved by the Competency Assessment Committee and/or are privileged by the Board of Directors, or who are working under the supervision of a staff member whose competency has been approved and/or they are a privileged staff member.
- Ancillary training/certifications: CPR, First Aid, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, IHBT fidelity model trainings
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently
- Ability to navigate computer software include Microsoft Word and the agencies ECR, CareLogic
- Ability to engage clients and establish ongoing relationships
- Skills associated with group facilitation and group member interaction
