What can I expect on my first visit…?

If you are meeting your clinician at one of our offices, be sure to email your completed intake packet, prior to your appointment. If you are unable to email your packet, please bring a physical copy or, if necessary, you can come thirty minutes early to fill out paperwork. We will also need a copy of the front and back of your insurance card(s).

Outside of that, just bring yourself and an open mindset!

At the first session, your therapist will talk with you about your reasons for coming to counseling, background and history, symptoms, and discuss your goals for therapy. At the first session, we gather A LOT of information, so bear with us.  Appointments generally take about an hour. After the initial appointment, your sessions will be tailored to meet your individual goals.
